PRIMEVAL STATE OF MAN
§ 70. In his original state, man was not only sound in body and soul, without a germ of disease or death,1 or a taint of sin,2 but endowed with concreated3 spiritual wisdom and knowledge,4 and with perfect natural righteousness, goodness, and holiness,5 in the image and likeness of the Triune God.6
