94 – Laws of Nature
LAWS OF NATURE
§ 94. The laws of nature are under divine providence a curb and bar to the perverse will of man or to the execution of his evil purposes, forasmuch as man, though he may in a measure govern or modify natural objects or control natural forces, can never change or control the laws of nature,1 but can make nature subservient to his purposes only in accordance to the physical laws laid down by the Creator.2
