FOURTH COMMANDMENT
§ 80. The Law condemns all those who refuse or neglect to honor and duly1 obey those whom God has endowed with authority over them in the family,2 the church,3 and the state,4 or who, being in authority, refuse or neglect to perform the duties incumbent upon them according to their authority.5

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Matthew 22:21 Then saith He unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

Romans 12:7, 8 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
